- One day after practice Erin and Finley were walking home and noticed the school bully Don Little was following them to try and steal Erin from Finley. This caused for Finley to flip out and charge at Don. "That's when I charged him. But before I could land any punches, he dropped me with one punch to the jaw." page 17
- Boy21 is the character who the book is based off of. He moved to Belmont after both of his parents were murdered and he had nowhere else to go. This scene introduces Boy21 to Finley, and starts a new friendship. " page 39
