- Hamlet Act 4 Scene 4, lines 68-77This line shows how set Hamlet is on avenging his father's death; it's his main purpose and one goal. Hamlet wants to defend his father's pride as it was considered noble to avenge a family members killing back then. (Hubris)
- Hamlet Act 1 Scene 2, Line 133-152Hamlet's biggest flaw is his overthinking as it constantly hurts him. In this section you can see how killing himself is his constant battle. However, he doesn't want to commit suicide because of religious purposes but he also wants peace and suicide would be his way of obtaining it. The constant overthinking in his head is his biggest flaw as it leads him to never making the right decision. (Hamartia)
- Hamlet Act 1 Scene 2, Line 144This section of text shows us how Hamlet looked at his father as this godly figure and at Claudius as this beast. Hamlet's family went from happy and united to now unhappy and divided all due to Claudius. Hamlet despises his mother and Claudius' relationship as it is incestuous and should just be morally wrong. They went from an ideal family to an unhealthy one. (Peripeteia)
- Hamlet Act 1 Scene 5, Lines 45-105This is the moment when Hamlet finds out what kind of person Claudius really is as King Hamlet comes back as a ghost and tells Hamlet that that Claudius murdered him. In Claudius doing this he ruined their family and showed that he is a envious person that will do anything to get what he wants. (Anagnorisis)

- Hamlet Act 5 Scene 1, Lines 285-287Hamlet finally confessed what we had all been thinking which was that he truly did love Ophelia. This confession does make you pity him as he couldn't spend time with her before she died. However, it also makes you fear Hamlet because if it wasn't for the kind of psychotic way he handled the situation she would have still been alive as well as many others. (Catharsis)
