- A fire escape plan?
- I just made a fire escape plan just in case of an accidental fire. It also has some safety tips, you know for our safety.
- Okay but why do we need safety tips though? And what are they?
- Yea its very useful just in case of an emergency...
- Smart but how will we prevent a fire from happening and reduce the risk?
- The safety tips are when we are in an emergency and we need help/advise to keep ourselves safe. They include of crawling on the floor when smoke is in the air, putting a towel under a doors crack, etc.
- Those are good ways to prevent/reduce the risks of causing a fire... but I have another question which is how would I know if a fire is in the house?
- Well of course to prevent a fire from starting you must keep flammable items like a lighter, matches, etc in a high cabinet. You also need to keep cords/wires away from water!
- Ill take that into consideration.
- Well there are there things that will detect a possible fire, they are called smoke detectors. You know adding these to your home will help you prevent injuries.
