- Ivan is Genral Zaroffs servant. He is a side charater, not involed very much other then getting killed and being by the Genrals side. He is deaf and mute. He is killed by onr of Rainsfords traps
- Rising Action 1 Falling off yacht
- The beginning of the story takes place on a fancy, beautfiful yacht on the caribbean. Then the setting goes to the ocean, so dark you could sleep with your eyes open, so cold it felt hot. Then it moves to this dense, jungley forest filled with so many green trees. Then its goes to the Cheatu, made of gorgeous grey stone and so big it could be a castle or village. It is sitting of a clife so 3 sides of this Cheatu is off the cliff. Then it goes back to the dense forest jungle filled with green trees, beautiful birds. So covered in green it seems very hard to track at trail.
- I think genreis mystery,adventure and action. I think this fits the story because its kind of mystery of what Zaroff is hunting and why he has his own island. Action is a good way to describe the genre because Rainsford is running and hiding from Zaroff, Ivan and the dogs. It seems very fast paced when hes running and setting traps. Lastly id adventure, it fits fairly well because Rainsofrd is adventure through the dense jungle forest and swimming the ocean and killing and setting traps
- The first rising action is Rainsford falling off the giant, beautiful yacht into the deep dark ocean. It didn't really affect him very much when he fell off the yacht, he seemed very cool-headed
