- They’re really good..but they’re probably gonna find all the gold!
- Miners from all around the world, such as Mexico, South America, Europe, to China, German, Natives, etc, travelled to California to discover gold.Once there, Americans found a resentment towards the Chinese because of how good they were at mining because of the hard labor they were used to
- I found gold!
- We’re only taxing you guys $20
- That’s unfair but we can only comply..
- The miners were very territorial over land.They committed crimes like stealing and murder.The Chinese were the only ones taxed with $20 so when they could, they rebelled and opened us shops and businesses, creating China town.
- This is my land!
- I want that gold!
- We’re rebelling and making businesses!
- Diseases are everywhere! I think I’m getting sick too!
- The gold rush transformed California.California’s population increased because of the people traveling there.There was the doubling of the world’s gold supply and the spreading diseases that made people sick.
