- Theseus: Since both of you Knights have been free for a whole year (Whether legally or not) you will battle for Emily's hand in marriage.
- Palamon: For Love!
- Theseus: We shall make a big deal of it too! A whole event.
- Emily: Gross and excessive.
- Arcite: Pfft easy.
- Palamon: Please great Goddess Venus, let me win Emily's hand so we can live happily ever after!
- Emily: Please great Goddess Diana, let both men die so I dont have to marry either of them and I can continue being free!
- Arcite: Please great God Mars, give me strength enough to win!
- Yes! I win! Emily, my love, I am the only worthy one of your love!
- Emily: Now I'm stuck with him :/
- Arcite: Oh no! I'm dying! Since I cant marry Emily, I think she should marry Palamon after all.
