- Bud Caldwell has been left in the world because his father left him and his mother passed away. He and his friend are both going to an adopting family. Not the same one but still, they were leaving.Bud went to the baby-their-kid Amoses.
- Climax
- Angela caldwell
- Bud is at the Amoses house. He manages to sleep through the night and he finds rubber up his nose. He smacks the boy in the mouth and a huge browl breaks out.
- Falling Action
- Bud is sent out to the shed and he then has heard that there was a kid that last time he was in there he was as big as a whale. Bud had to sleep there and was also locked in. Bud then tried to hit a bat but it was a hornets-nest and had to break through a window to escape.
- Resolution
- Bud found his father and his band. The band took him in while his father was being hard on him. The band then asked what his mothers name was and after Bud told them they were very sad.
- Bud, what was your moms name?
- Bud went up to his grandfather`s room and tried to go get a picture of his mom and stopped to calm him down. He gave him a rock that he had gave to his daughter.
- Bud was given a sax. and was named Sleepy LaBone. All was well even though his mom was gone. Bud was also treated very well.
