- It really is. I wonder if it is still beautiful at a smaller level?
- Isn't our world so beautiful. Look at this sunset. It is just so easy to be overwhelmed by these amazing views
- Now kids in this cell there is something called actin. Actin is part of the cytoplasm. Unlike in our skeletons that actin is constantly being broken and rebuild. The actin plays a very important part in our cytoskeleton it allows the cell to change shape and to move around. Now actin isnt the only part iof the cytoskelton.
- Hi my name is Lisa and I am a molecular animator. I am like a cartoon animator but for molecules. The molecules that I animate are so small they are practically invisible no matter what microscope you are using
- Now kids another part of the cytoskeleton that is very important are microtubules. These are like the highway of cells. They are used for long transportation. Unlike normal highways, microtubules can disappear and reappear when they are need or not.
- I do like my job , but it can be tricky at times. Molecules can do some pretty crazy things. But what I do really helps us understand the molecular world and thats what I love about my job. Now lest go to the lab so I can show you some examples

- Wow I cant believe these drawings are just hypothesis they look true to me.
- Now kids even though I am a scientist doesn't mean what I say is true. My animations are just hypothesis of what these molecules actually look like. My collaborators use the best possible information they have to come up with a hypothesis.
