Is this a dagger which I see before me, the handletoward my hand?
All hail Macbeth! Hail to thee Thane of Glamis, Thane of Cawdor, and that shalt be king thereafter,
He bade me, from him, call thee Thane of Cawdor; In which addition, hail, most worthy Thane!

Macbeth is debating committing regicide when Lady Macbeth walks in and tries to convince him. She tells him that he will be a coward in her eyes if she does not kill Duncan. Macbeth agrees to her plan.
When you durst do it, thenyou were a man. I have given suck, and know how tender 'tis tolove the babe that milks me. I would, while it was smiling inmy face, have pluck'd my nipple from his boneless gums, anddash'd the brains out, had I so sworn as you have done to this!
Macbeths mind started to make tricks with him by imagining a dagger in his hand.
