- Michael and his parents had a normal life until a letter came in the mail. His parents had lost their job.
- Michael's dad decided, because the family loves sailing, to buy a yacht and sail around the world
- PEGGY SUE
- One unfortunate day, the day before Michael's 12th birthday, he fell overboard with their dog, Stella Artois.
- Michael sees a boat in the distance and makes a fire. But an orangutan looking shadow comes up to the fire and puts it out. An old man starts screaming in Japanese
- DAMEDA! DAMEDA!
- After a traumatizing event, The old man, later known as Kensuke, becomes friends with Michael and tells him about his past. They say they're going to get out of this together.
- In a matter of months, Kensuke and Mikey finally sight a boat; it's The Peggy Sue! Michael is safe, but Kensuke stays behind
