- British Attack!!
- British march from Boston to capture Samuel Adams and John Hancock and capture stockpiled weapons in concord. This was where the shot around the world was heard. The result of this battle is them being defeated by Minutemen and this forced them to retreat back to Boston.
- Saratoga
- The Militia sets up outside of Boston on Breed's hill. William Prescott orders the army to "don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes". This results 40% casualties for the British and also boost confidence for the colonists.
- Valley Forge
- Baron Von Steuben Is coming to train all of you to fight.
- The Americans suffered defeats and many thought the war would be lost. Washington plans a attack on the Hessian garrison stationed in Trenton. An side tells Washington "they make a great deal of Christmas in Germany, and no doubt the Hessians will drink a great deal of beer and have a dance tonight." The result of this was that Americans were able to capture 800 hessians and only lose one American. This was the first major victory for the Americans.
- Yorktown
- we must protect are ships from supplying British reinforcements
- The British try a 3 pronged attack and only one army made it. Burgoyne ends up surrounded by a larger American force with no reinforcements. The result of this is a major defeat of British troops and Hessians surrendered. The victory also proved to the French that the Americans can win and then they agree to help.
- After nor recapturing Philadelphia from the British George Washington sets camp up for the winter. During this supply shortages where very common and several diseases broke out. This caused Washington to order inoculation. Then Baron Von Steuben came and created a training program for the army.
- The British set up a peninsula at Yorktown. The French kept British ships from supplying reinforcements. The Comte de Rochambeau and Marquis de Lafayette (French) attacked from the left fkank and Washington attacked from the left. The British hd no choice but to surrender
