- Master, there are so many more of them then there are us. It has become so dreadful to even breathe the same air as them!
- 8. The Pharaoh Chooses to Further Punish the Egyptians
- You are absolutely right.
- They are so filthy that I can not bear to look at them, which is why they will be receiving further punishment!
- 9. An Israelite Shepherd Receives Higher Demands from a Soldier
- THEN WORK HARDER YOU IMBECILE!!

- Egyptians complain about the number of Israelites and begin to dread them.
- 10. The Pharaoh Feels Very Powerful and Claims He Is a God
- I am a god and this power has become immeasurable!
- The Pharaoh agrees with the complaints of the Egyptians and decides to punish and enforce more difficult labour on the Israelites.
- A shepherd mending a flock faces more complex orders from a soldier as the Pharaoh becomes stricter. As a result of this, the flock is scattered and not organized.
- Since there are more Israelites, there are more slaves to work under the Pharaoh. The Pharaoh is very triumphant, expressing the power he feels by comparing himself to a god.
