- Last summer, my family and I decided to go to New England.
- Our first stop was in Mystic, Connecticut.
- When we were there, we went to Mystic Seaport, which is the largest maritime museum in the world.
- After we visited the seaport, we went to Mystic Pizza, which was the site of a famous 1980's movie.
- Our second stop was in Salem, Massachusetts.
- Salem is famous for the Salem Witch Trials of 1692. This is when 20 people were accused of witchcraft and executed.
- When we were in Salem, we went to two museums that told us about the trials. We also went to a memorial.
- When we left Salem, we decided to visit Boston, Massachusetts.
- When we were there, we went to the Boston Harbor, which was where the Boston Tea Party took place.
- We also visited the Boston Museum of Science.
- Our next stop was in Rhode Island. When we were there, we learned how to sail on a small boat.
- While we were sailing, we found an island. There were a lot of horseshoe crabs on the island.
- When we finished sailing, we went to see Taylor Swift's house in Rhode Island.
- After coming back from Rhode Island, we stayed in Connecticut for a few more days.
- After a week of traveling around New England, we drove back home to Georgia.
