- This story took place in Derry Main in 1957-1958. Also known as the Loser's Club Bill Denborough, Beverly Marsh, Ben Hanscom, Eddie Kasparak, Mike Hamlin, and Richie Tozier are the main characters in the story

- The main problem in the story is that there is a secret entity that appears every 27 years to hunt the children of Derry, and the main characters also known as the losers club try to stop it. When the evil entity kills George, Bill's younger brother, they decide to confront the evil and try to stop it before anyone else is hurt.
- Resolution
- Bye!
- The Loser's Club hunts down the clown in his sewer hideout underground. They figure out the only way to defeat the evil entity is to show that they aren't afraid of it. When they scream insults at the evil entity, he's forced away into hideout.

- After the final battle the Loser's Club gather in a patch of dirt in front of the Barrens where they hung out a lot that summer. They all make a blood oath promising to come back if the evil entity ever makes an appearance.
- All of the Loser's Club moves out of Derry Main and will later become succesful in their adult years, except for Mike. Mike is the only Loser who stayed in Derry and would later make the calls to the others when evil starts to brew up again.
