- Learn? As a general who guards this place, I may not know much about its history, but I do know some interesting fast facts.
- 10,000?! That’s so many!
- See all those towers which look like this one? They are watchtowers where soldiers stand and watch out for enemies. there are 10,000 of these watchtowers in total on the Great Wall of China.
- You see all the way up there? That is the mountains near Zhangjiakou City (張家口市) which is at 6,562 feet above sea level. That is also the high point on the Great Wall of China.
