This story is about a little girl who is new to her school and she gets bullied for being the new student and she also get bullied for her clothes that her mom bought for her.
Storyboard Tekst
- Once Upon a time, there was a little girl named Katarina, she was sad because she had to leave her old school
- She was the new kid at the Bright Future Academy
- Nobody wanted to play with her, the other girls even picked on her because of her clothes
- You cant play with us, and your dress is so ugly
- Day by day, nobody wanted to be near Katarina, they ignored her and kept her out of recess games.
- I'm sorry Katarina, but Kyle says you can't play with us!!
- Katarina often cried alone at home and wrote in her journal all about her new school
- But one day, Mrs. Wilson noticed that Katarina would sit alone during computer time
- We must show kindness to our new students and to everyone!!
- Mrs. Wilson decided she would teach about bullying to the class, and why bullying is WRONG
- Bullying is bad, you never know what effect it could have on another human being
- For the next week, every day Mrs. Wilson had the students doing acts of kindness for others
- She also had then write positive messages about each other
- I need to ask my mom, but yes I would love that
- Katarina, would you like to come to my house for a sleepover?
- And now class, lets say something positive about each other
- Neda, your hair is so gorgeous
- Thank you Samuel, your jersey is super blue today
- zzz....
- Katarina no longer dreaded going to school and was even excited to go the next day
- I really hope you can come to Sarah's sleepover tomorrow night
- me too!
- Everyday after school Katarina would go home and tell her family about all the kids at school
- Everyone was so nice to me today, Sarah even asked me if I wanted to have a sleepover, so can I mom?
- Sure thing sweetheart!
- From that day forward, the students learned they never know somebody unless they introduce themselves. They learned to never judge a book by its cover
- And Katarina one day became a motivational speaker about bullying world-wide
