- Gatsby used to throw party's every week and it would be described as ,"In his blue gardens men and girls came and went like moths among the whisperings and the champagne and the stars"(Fitzgerald 39). This also shows how many people came to his partys.
- During one of Gatsby's party's, Tom and Daisy come and after a while Daisy and Gatsby "Then they sauntered over to my house and sat on the steps for half an hour"(Fitzgerald 105). This shows Daisy and Gatsby going over to Nicks house to talk.
- Gatsby talks to Nick saying, "You know, old sport, I've never used that pool all summer"(Fitzgerald 153)-the event that leads Gatsby to his death by George Wilson.
