- Who are you? and Where are you going?
- "I am Dorothy and I am going to Emerald City to meet the Wizard of Oz so that he can send me back to my home in Kansas."
- I cannot tell, but you may come with me, if you like.
- I don’t know anything. You see, I am stuffed, so I have no brains at all. Do you think Oz could give me some brains?
- Why, don’t you know?
- "Where is the Emerald City ?And who is Oz?”
- Thank you!
- Please can you get an oil can and oil my joints? They are rusted so badly that I cannot move them at all; if I am well oiled I shall soon be all right again. You will find my oil can on a shelf in my cottage.
- Of course I will.
- In this Scene, the Scarecrow is asking Dorothy who she is and where she was going.
- Your Welcome.
- Thank you, This is a great comfort, I have been holding that axe in the air ever since I rusted, and I’m glad to be able to put it down at last.
- Here, The Scarecrow is asking Dorothy if he can accompany her on her journey to Emerald City and Dorothy approves of it.
- Why, I guess so, If you want you can join us on our journey.
- We are on our way to the Emerald City to see the Great Oz
- Do you suppose Oz could give me a heart?
- How did you happen to be here?
- As they went on their journey they meet a tinman who needs their help.
- Rawrrr Rawrrr
- Leave toto alone you big coward!
- The Tinman thanks them for their help.
- The Tinman joins the party on their way to The Great Oz.
- Thank you!
- On their way through a thick forest, a lion tries to attack toto the dog.
