- Muhammad had decided to spend this morning like others. Going to pray in a cave up in the mountains.

- While praying, he hears the voice of a person.
- Started sharing messages
- An angel named Gabriel appears and has told Muhammad something very important. Gabriel had come to tell Muhammad that he has been called to be the messenger of God.
- Developed followers
- Muhammad didn't believe what had just happened. He had thought that he was going mad. He had finally accepted what had happened and was ready to spread God's messages.
- Muhammad did not start off by telling everyone these prophecies. He only told the people that he was closest to like his cousin and his greatest friend.
- Muhammad had started spreading these messages to more people and eventually he had a group of followers. These followers started writing down his messages.
