- I was working late at the office. I was in a hurry to get to my apartment. I decided to take the subway from the Grand central because it is faster than bus.
- I turned into Grand Central from Vanderbilt Avenue, and went down the steps to the first level, where you take trains like the twentieth Centuary.
- Then I walked down another flight to the second level, where the suburban Trains leave from.Then I into an Arched doorway heading for the subway and got lost.
- I often bump into new doorways, stairs and corridors. It almost feels like this place is growing like the Roots of a Tree
- Once I reached into the Roosevelt Hotel.Another time it was an Forty-sixth street.
- I got into a Tunnel a mile long,
- All I could hear was my empty sound of my own footsteps and I didn't pass a soul.
- The Corridor I was walking in began angling left and slanting downward and I thought I was wrong, But I kept on walking.
- Louisa was pretty worried when I told her all this, and for a while I went back to my stamps, But now We're both looking, since we have proof that the 3rd level exists.
