- One night, God spoke to Abraham in a dream.
- Child, I am God. I promise to give you a son and rich land to live on. I only ask you to believe in me.
- God spoke to me last night and said that He would give us a son if we go to His promised land.
- Well, what can we do but believe?
- Do you really believe that? We're so old to have a son.
- And so they traveled a long ways to the said land. And years later, Sarah eventually gave birth to Isaac, the promised son by God.
- Then one day, God asked him to do the unthinkable.
- Go get Isaac, your only son, the one you dearly love! Take him to the land of Moriah, and I will show you a mountain where you must sacrifice him to me on the fires of an altar.
- Why my son, oh Lord?!
- Wait, child. I see your faith and loyalty to me. You need not to sacrifice your child. I have already provided you ram for the sacrifice.
- As Abraham was about to sacrifice his son, God called out to him.
- And with that, Abraham and his family continued on in believing on the miracles of God.
- Oh, thank you God. Thank you! I will forever serve Your Holiness.
