- Oedipous is prophesized to kill his father and marry his mother, which he does and has 4 children with her. After he and his wife/mother die he chooses to let his two sons share Thebes taking turns each year, but one son (eteocles) didn't want to let go of the position. The two brothers faught and killed eachother.

- Antigone wants her sister to help her bury their brother (polyneices) though the new king, Kreon has put a law against it. Her sister Ismene disagrees with her decision to bury their other brother.

- The guard finds Antigone burying her brother, she confesses, and Kreon sentences her to death.
- Yes I am to blame take Kreon away he no more exists that someone who does not exist
- Haimon's dead

- Haemon comes to his father upset about the decision he has made against his love, Antigone. Kreon shows no concern for his sons opinion or the opinion of others and sticks to his statement.
- Antigone is taken and buried alive as Kreon said. He then gets a visit from the Prophet, Teiresias, who tells him of the future he sees where his decision would cause his son to die. Knowing that what the prophet says is always true, kreon is frightened and changes his mind.
- Kreon's son (Haemon) and wife (Eurydike) is found dead by a messenger. Haemon killed himself and his wife blamed him for their son's death and killed herself. He then blames himself for what happened to them and doesn't wish to live anymore.
