- Bob was a good guy. Best buddy I ever had. He was a good fighter, tuff and everything. You dig?
- I don't think i'm gonna show at the rumble tonight. I'm gonna get out of town. I'll take my Mustang and all the dough I can carry. You got that kid?
- My names Ponyboy. Nice talking to you Randy.
- He ain't a Soc. He's just a guy. He just wanted to talk.
- What did he want. What did Mister Super Soc have to say?
- Socs were just guys after all. Things were rough all over, but it was better that way. That way you could tell that the other guy was human too.
- I learned that Socs were regular people like you and me. They didn't try to hurt people, they just did it to look cooler than the other.
