- photosynthesis is a process used by plant and other organisms to convert light energy into chemical energy through cellular respiration
- cellular respiration is a set of metabolic reactions and process that takes place in the cells of organism to convert chemical energy from oxygen,molecules or nutrinets into adenosine triphosphate and then realses waste product
- what is cellular respiration ?
- oh hey kids i overheard your conversation i can tell you about there relationship ,so basically photosynthesis converts co2 and h2o into oxygen and glucose ,glucose is used as food by the plant and oxygen is a by-product,cellular respiration converts oxygen and glucose into h2o and co2
- now that we know about photosynthesis and cellular respiration i wonder what there relationship is them too
- lets talk about passive and active transport ,soo passive transport is the movement of the substance across the membrane without the expenditure of cellular energy in contrast active substance is the movement of substance across the membrane using energy from the adenosine triphosphate
- are there other types of transport?
- yes there are actually 6 types of cell transport which are simple diffusion ,facilitated diffusion .osmosis,active transport,endocytosis,exocytosis and let me tell you what they do simple diffusion is small .nonpolar and doesnt use energy ,facililtated diffusion polar diffusion polar molecules ,large ions and doesnt use energy
