- This is the second major battle in the persian war. The greeks lost because someone betrayed them. They lost three to one.

- This was the final major battle of the Greco/Persian wars. The greeks won because they sent soldiers around to flank them. They waited eleven days just staring at the persians.
- The wars end when the greeks win in the battle of plataea. The greeks rebuilt athens and the persians left. There is still debate on who won the wars fully because they both completed their goals
