- Co sleeping can be harmful to the baby. I think we should allow the baby to sleep alone.
- Actually, co sleeping can be very beneficial for me and the baby. This would allow us to bond more closely and it will be easier for me to settle her if she woke in the middle of the night.
- I understand what you're saying, but co sleeping with the baby puts the baby at a huge risk for SIDS.
- I get that but I am a light sleeper, the baby sleeping with me will lessen the affects of postpartum depression. I want to feel close to my baby.
- There are many different ways for you to bond with the baby. What if you roll over on her? Then what?
- I am not going to roll on her! I've been reading about this for months. This will help her with breathing regulation and cause her to feel more loved!
- Our daughter is going to be very loved, but this can also cause her to form an unnecessary attachment to you. It will be hard for us to get her to sleep in her own room.
- Interesting, I am still not sure about this. I want what's best for the both of you but maybe when can come to some sort of compromise before she gets here.
- Whatever, I am confident that this will have positive psychological effects for our baby. She will fall asleep more quickly and have direct access to her mother at all times.
