- Approach to the Inmost Cave: James and his teammates practiced nearly every day using their spare time to overcome their deficiencies in order to perform well in the next tournament.
- The Ordeal in the Abyss: James feels exhausted and tired as the results did not follow compared to the effort and time they spent. He started losing interest in Basketball and also did not have much motivation.
