- USS Bonhomme Richard diecied to lock onto the the HMS Seraapis.
- WE ARE HERE TO SAVE YOU!!
- In return theHMS Serapis fired guns at Jones ship, killing many of his crew and damageing the USS Bonhomme Richard
- WE SURRENDER
- A grenade destored a good porishion of the HMS Serapisgun deck
- Then the USS Aliance joined the fight(a ship in the USS Bonhomme Richard’s squcdron)
- The British captain of the HMS Serapis surrender fearing that his men and ship would get damaged
