- During the Civil war, The Confederate forces were outnumbered so they enacted the draft. The draft had required all men 18-30 to join the army but the men with valuable jobs, and wealthy slave owners with up to 20+ slaves were excluded. Henry H. Sibley and Tom Green tried to seize the New mexico and California land but failed. Few year later Johnson wanted slavery to end.
- During the 1920s , businesses and workers made money while farmers and bankers barely got any. On october 29, all the stock money was gone and then people started to ask the bank for money and then the bank had gone broke. Since we didn´t have a lot of money, people went broke and lost their jobs. The woman had a hard time getting jobs too.
