- eckels and the rest of the crew get int the time machine and travel back sixty million, two thousand and fifty-five years ago. Travis reminds the hunters stay on the path. Dont go off it...for any reason.

- eckels and so amazed and frightened by the t-rex that he is unable to shoot it. lesperance tells eckels to hide in the time machine, but eckels goes the wrong way and steps off the path.
- when the hunters return to the present, everything has changed. the president, the sign, everything...
- eckels looks down at his boots and sees a dead butterfky stuck to tge bottom and they realize he has changed. Travis, furious, aims his weapon at eckels and there is, everything...
