- Im so hot. Can you leave the air conditioning on when you leave?
- "NO!"
- Cheyenne's step-mother is going into the pharmacy and leaving Cheyenne by herself. The step-mother is leaving the car on so that Cheyenne wont get to hot.
- Of course!
- Wow! What a nice car. I can't wait to see my dad's reaction when I bring it to him!
- Griffin sees Cheyenne's nice car and is excited to steel it and bring it home for his dad.
- Hello? mom is that you?
- Cheyenne cannot see Griffin so she asks if anyone is in the car with her.
- What was that? is someone behind me??
- Griffin notices Cheyenne, but is scared to let her out of the car because he is worried of being caught by the police.
- “Please let me go, I won't tell...”(pg. 45)
- "How do I know you won't give away my identity?"
- Cheyenne reveals that she is blind. Griffin is in shock.
- "Im blind!"(pg. 47)
- Griffin is going to let Cheyenne walk home in the dark, hoping nobody will see her. This way, Griffin will not get caught.
- I will let you out when it gets dark.
