- Inside the New Home
- Elenore I can't keep living off of nothing. We have no food so I have to go away and take some from the local market. I didn't wnat it to come to this but it did.
- I must or we will not live I'm sorry.
- WHAT!! You cannot steal you will go to jail and I will never ever see you agin. What about your daughter!?
- In the Jail Cell
- You did a very bad thing my friend now you will have to pay for what you did. You will be in here for a total of three years.
- Yes one call only.
- I understand, officer I know I deserve this. Please is there any way I can make a call to my wife?
- In the Prisoner Talking Area
- I am so very sorry this happened I feel horrible. What will we do now I will be in here for three years!
- That is a great idea you are going to be incredable! Thank you for saving this family!
- It is okay Fred I understand why you did it. You are an amazing person. I have decided to look for a job and while I am doing that I will invest in several stocks and hopefully be able to bail you out and we can get back to how it was before!
- Fred and his family have nothing. Thye can't get warmth in their new home and there is barely any food. This night they have run out completely for the whole family. Fred has to tell his wife he is going to be doing something that might be a horrible mistake.
- Fred did end up stealing which he wasn't at all proud of. In the act the police found and arrested him. He was not sent to the jail cell where he will live three years in. During the Great Depression many people were unemployed like Fred and they lost all their money so they resorted to stealing which they were sent to jail for. This was a very common problem.
- Fred makes his call to his wife and aksed to to meet him down in the waiting room. While Elenore is very mad and sad she understands why he had to do it so they disscus things and figure out better solutions. The little giil is devistated about her father but she will end up okay.
