- the USA ambassador thinks that Mexico should sell texas to them which makes the Mexican government very worried. General Meir y Teran suggests that Mexico needs to act fast or lose texas forever. Centralist government comes into power and this made colonists worried because slavery is abolished in Mexico.

- The laws were going a little too far and making all the colonists mad. They also imposed taxes on foreign goods, which upset the colonists.

- This was the first serious conflict. a man, Mean Bradburn, was an American but he followed the Mexican laws to the fullest. he had William B. Travis and Patrick Jack arrested for interfering with tax collections. The colonists and him got in a small fight which lead to the Turtle Bayou resolution.

- While the colonist was trying to get more firepower, they declared their war and were trying to defend the federalist and evil Santa. evil Santa was fighting against centralists. The colonists held a meeting to make changes n texas. they made a list of requirements and SFA sent it to mexico.

- The colonists sent SFA to Mexico, during this time evil Santa was on "vacation" so SFA decided to write a letter instead. SFA tries going back to texas but got caught and was sent to jail due to the letter he wrote.

- The colonists were so angry at the government they weren't paying their taxes! William B. Travis came into the picture and forms an army defeating Tenorio. the colonists write a letter and apologize to the general. Half of the people wanted independence the other half wanted peace. SFA came back and voted independence and this made the colonists worried due to all the Mexican soldiers coming in the frame.
