- Lisa goes home after a night out with friends, but she is dissatisfied with herself since she has been ridiculed for her look by other girls. She chooses to use the toilet on the second floor. She enters the restroom and heads straight to the mirror. She starts to lower her self-esteem by convincing herself that she is "ugly" and that "nobody likes her." She sobs and walks over to the bay window to be alone with her grief.
- Climax
- "Hi Dr. Meg, I have been recently doubting myself because of my looks. What should I do about my helpless self?"
- "Just remember Lisa, always think positive. Those girls are just jealous of your looks. Everyone is unique in their own way
- She sat down and continued to sob. She asked herself why those girls would say such mean things to her. Whiles having a mental breakdown, Lisa is reminded of her phobia of looking ugly.
- Falling action
- "Why should I care of what people think I look like, I love myself the way I am, and If nobody else does then who cares"
- Lisa stops crying and starts to think about all the things that make her "pretty". After thinking about some things she decides to go to her living to write in her journal.
- Resolution
- "Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth"
- Lisa decides to talk to her local therapist to gain tips on how to resolve her phobia and to reject negative comments by others. Her therapist, Dr. Meg mentions to always have a positive mindset and that everyone's thoughts don't matter to you only herself.
- She decides to go to the restroom and look at herself in the mirror. She reflects about what she wrote and decided that maybe she should just have fun and not care about what others think.
- After overcoming her fear of "ugliness", she went out with her friends and enjoyed her night by going to watch her favorite artist.
