  • Ben and Will have been friends for as long as they could remember. On the ice in blue is Ben who comes from a very supportive family, and has always been known as the nice and straight-shooter kind of guy even here apologizing for accidentally tripping his opponent. Behind him stands Will, he is known as the deviant and sheisty guy who always supports and watches his best friend play hockey. Will is more prone to delinquency because he lacks social control as his family never gave him the opportunity to occupy his time in recreational sports.
  • 2 minutes for tripping!
  • It is ok Ben I know you didn't mean to do it.
  • I'm so sorryI did not mean to trip you.
  • I hope he does not call everyday I am a university student I'm too busy for him
  • A few weeks later Ben is back off to the University of Manitoba for the winter semester. Ben's family pays his full tuition in hopes for Ben to obtain a solid education and a great career one day. Will sees him and is sad because he will miss his friend and his friend is not showing the care Will shows towards Ben. He also has no opportunity for higher education to one day obtain a great career as well.
  • Whatever man, see you later.
  • We will keep in touch for sure though! I'll call everyday.
  • Ben I am gonna miss you buddy.

  • I can't believe I got caught, jail is a scary place
  • I wish Ben was still around he was my role model
  • With Ben off to university, it seemed as if he was not concerned for Will. It was very inconsiderate as Will now has no role models and guide him as Ben and his family acted like that. Will is confused and upset with nowhere to go which makes him more likely to be deviant. Will wants to show Ben he can make it on his own and may turn to deviant ways.
  • Hey Will, you work here?
  • I'm so sorry Will I did not think I meant that much to you let's catch up
  • Ya I never had great opportunity to begin with then being seperated from you I did some bad things and that did not help this is all I could get
  • Will has always been known as deviant but has now turned to criminal behavior after losing his role model Ben. He is performing a street crime that is typically easily detectable such as the armed robbery he is committing in the middle of the street. He will get caught if he keeps up thee actions.
  • Will got caught for his armed robbery and received a formal punishment for the offense. His crime will fall under a consensus crime for holding an innocent old lady at gunpoint and robbing her, many won't argue that is an acceptable action.
  • After Ben ran into Will at his new job he realized not in every aspect but just enough for Will to hold on, that he provided enough social control to Will as being such a great role model throughout the years as he was an underprivileged kid.
