- Also known as an educated guess, a hypothesis can be proved or disproved.
- They didn't grow well because we didn't get a lot of rain.

- ...Guess we'll just focus on eggs this year.

- Review your data and see if it proves or disproves your hypothesis - since the apples grew better with more water, the farmer's hypothesis was proved.
