- You can't leave now. There are giants here. If they find you they will eat you! They go out and eat children every night.
- One night, very late at night, Sophie woke up. She saw something GIANT outside. Not a person. She was terrified. It had to be a giant. Then the giant started moving toward her. What would happen next?
- You is hiding chiddler in you cave?
- N-No.
- The giant reached into the orphanage bedroom and snatched Sophie out of her bed! The giant ran with Sophie. Out of town, across fields. She was stuck and she couldn't do anything.
- *GASP* A most terrible Trogglehumper. I must get rid of it so no tottlers is seeing horrible thing.
- They finally arrived at their destination: Giant Land. The Giant told Sophie a bit about himself and why he had brought her here. Sophie was terrified at what the giant said. He had introduced himself as the BFG (Big Friendly Giant). Sophie would be stuck here. With the giants. Forever.
- The BFG and Sophie where hiding in the BFG's cave. They heard loud footsteps suddenly. A giant was coming. The giant leader. He was coming to see who the voices where. He heard the sound of a little child.
- The BFG decided to take Sophie dream hunting the next day. They had to find dreams. The BFG found many Phizzwizards (Good Dreams) but he suddenly found a Trogglehumper (A Bad Dream).
- Sophie came up with a plan to tell the queen about the giants. She would get the BFG to make a dream, just for the queen. All Sophie needed to do was get to the queen's bedroom...
