- The legislative branch is the federal government, composed primarily of the U.S Congress, Is responsible for making the country's laws. The members of the two houses of congress of the House of Representatives and the Senate are elected by the citizens of the United states.

- Te legislative branch is made up of the two houses congress, the senate and the house of representative, but the most important duty of the legislative branch is to make the laws. The laws are written discussed and voted on in congress, there are 100 senators in the senate, two from each state.

- There is also 435 total representative in the House, each state gets a different number of representatives depending on it's population but the Sena is more insulated rom contact with the elaborate than the House, and it's members are expected to make decision based more on experience and wisdom rather than ever-changing public opinion.
- I don't because the Congress is arguing about something. two sides want their side to win and they represent two sides of the population
