My classroom will be an interactive one. I want my students to collaborate with each other and build on each other's ideas. I don't believe in lecture-based classes since I don't think students necessarily take them seriously, so my classes will all be interactive and discussion-based.
I want to be a support system for my students. I want my classroom to be a safe space for my students, and I want them to feel open to receiving help from me, whether it be about the classwork or about something else. I believe that we don't teach students; we teach children. I want to help them become more full versions of themselves by being a steady support system.
I will have multiple resources in my classroom in the case that some of my students prefer to learn another way. Since all students learn differently (like snowflakes), I want to make sure that I have all of the proper resources for each of my individual students to thrive.
