- Chapter 8: the Nazis came into town and told them they needed 7,000 jews. Then said give us your children and everyone yelled at them a couple of days passed. They rounded up the jews and took them to the ghettos. Meanwhile, Yanik was getting rations on his way back he thought he saw his parents. when he got back to the pigeon coop his cousin told Yanik that his parents were taken and he was devastated.
- Chapter 13: Yanik was on the floor with no strength because of a lack of food. As he was laying there he saw that piece of the floorboard was moved. He hurried to climb in his bed more roll call in the morning he asks his friend Isacc and Thomas if he wanted to hide there while people wear working. They did that for a couple of days until Amon Growth came in with there dogs and they figured out how to eacape
- chapter 13: Yanik got loaded into a train not knowing where he was going. It smelled like pee and puke so he moved to the window they study here for a day until the train was full then went on their way. someone on the othere side told him to look where they're going and the guy looked where Yanik was going and someone said the trzebbinia salt mines. They stood craped until they got to there destination when they got there one of the nazi ss oficers showed them around and his room.
