- Son, collect feathers from the island. I have an idea.
- Once upon a time, there was a father and son who were prisoners on an island. They were in prison for upsetting King Minos.
- Climax
- Several times they tried by bribery to sail away. This couldn't happen because King Minos kept strict watch of them. No boats or ships would be able to sail without being watched/searched.
- Falling Action
- HELP ME!! IM FALLING!
- Daedalus then had an idea. They collected feathers and wax to create wings. He wanted to create wings to fly away and escape the island. Once they built the wings, they started to learn how to fly.
- Resolution
- In memory of my son, I will name this island Icaria.
- Icarus and Daedalus decided to start flying in the sky. Icarus felt the cool breeze on his face. He flew higher and higher into the sky. His father tried to call out an alarm but Icarus was already up in the clouds. His wings were losing the feathers and he started to get heavier.
- SON!! YOU'RE WAY TO HIGH UP IN THE CLOUDS! COME DOWN!!
- The wings weren't strong enough to hold him. He couldn't flap his wings. Daedalus tried to save his son but it was to late.
- The son sunk into the sea and died. The father buried the son on the island and named it after Icarus. Daedalus named the island "Icaria" in memory of Icarus. The end.
