- On December 19, 1777, the continental army came to Valley Forge because they wanted to be close to the British, to protect Pennsylvania, and to have plenty of time to warn people if the British attacked them.
- When the diseases started
- These are some of the important people that went to Valley Forge.
- When people started to die
- These are some of the soldiers that went through the bad weather with only a blanket (Martha Washington was the person that gave them the blankets).
- When the continental army left Valley Forge
- I feel so weak.
- Later on, people got some diseases such as typhoid fever, smallpox, and pneumonia.

- Many people died because of the bad weather and of the diseases.
- On June 19, 1778, the continental army left Valley Forge but 2,500 soldiers died out of 11,000.
