- “Oh yeah? Well, imagine having cafeteria food every single day!” Brandon jests amusingly as he got up and tossed a chicken wing towards Castle.
- “Imagine having to be held back in school. I bet you forgot your ABCs!” Ghost yells back to Brandon angrily as he stood up to throw a carton of milk at him.

- Character vs. Self (Internal)
- “I wonder what Castle’s future would be. I wouldn’t want him to end up in the same place as me being broke.” Terri thought to herself upset, as she wiped tears from her face.
- Character vs. Society (External)
- “Nobody’s gonna win with that attitude. Keep it moving!” Coach shouts furiously as his eyebrows furrowed.
- “You wish.” Lu and Sunny scoffed in cringe as they got up to take their last sip of water before the race.
- “Ain’t nobody gonna beat me in this race.” Castle mocks Sunny and Lu confidently while he kneeled down to tie his shoe.
- Ghost and Brandon wrangle in the cafeteria.
- Terri mentions an adage to herself as she cries.
- Lu and Sunny believe that Castle's claim sounds discordant.
