- THE POOR GIRL
- . She was a witty and clever child. She lived ina village in Rajasthan. She was a well-behaved child but she was very poor. On onesunny day, Sita went below the tree and started sobbing and said ‘I am verypoor and don’t have any education or money’
- when the tree told ‘I will help you all you need to do is pass these three tasks and they are 1. You will have to pass the maze over there. At the end of the maze, you will find a box bring it back with you. 2. Climb up the tree and chop of my dry sticks and leaves. Lastly, there is a lake flowing by four miles away surrounded with fresh beautiful lotuses, bring 2 lotuses back with you.
- Sita now didn’t have a choice so Sita they did those tasks, though she always wondered what’s in the box. She finished the tasks successfully and bought back the things just the way the tree had instructed.
- There was a bright blue light which made Sita cover Sita eyes. After a moment there was a beautiful witch in front of Sita.
- The witch said ‘Congratulations my dear, you have successfully finished the tasks. Now you may open this box when you reach your home.
- When Sita reached home Sita opened the box with her parents and saw that it was filled with gold and jewels. From that day onwards she got the best of education and lived happily.
