- John had been dreaming of this pair of shoes for months now and the fact that everyone has them made him very upset
- wow i wanna pair so i can be cool like them
- check out my new shoes!! everyones buying them!
- Later that day on the bus Charlie was thinking to himself about how badly he wanted those shoes and started to get sad knowing his mom probably cannot afford them
- All i want is a pair of shoes without holes in them
- mom everyone has super cool new shoes and mine are super old and have holes in them
- hey buddy!!! whats wrong?!? why are you crying?!
- As john began to fall asleep he started dreaming about wearing his new shoes and being the fastest little boy on the playground
- all i was is new shoes without holes so i can be the fastest runner
- hurry and climb into bed, Santa won't come if you're awake
- I don't see a a box of new shoes he thought to himself as he began to get sad again.
- As soon as john woke up he ran downstairs as fast as. he could to see if Santa came. MOM!!!!! he called rushing her out of bed. He wanted to see what he got as soon as he could.
- Good morning mom!!! Are you ready to open all the presents? open yours first!
- I can't wait!!
- John rapidly starts opening the gifts but towards then end he starts to realize that he's not going to get that pair of shoes he' been wanting.
- I'm very sorry that I couldn't afford those shoes you've been dreaming of. i tired working extra shifts but I'm very sorry
- You know what mom, its okay because i know you love me and thats the best gift of all. Merry Christmas
