- On 5 May 1789, King Louis XVI was in debt from war and on his own spending so he called a Estates-General and the third estate said can we make a rule saying 1 man= 1 vote but he was denied.
- On 3 September 1791, The Constitutional Monarchy was when National Constituent Assembly forced the king sign and weakened the king's power.
- June 17, 1789 The day of the National Assembly. When the Third Estate broke away from the Estates. The common people started the National Assembly. The Third Estate said they will not break up the Estates until they write a constitution for France.
- Between Sept. 5, 1793, and July 27 1794, The Reign of terror was when 25,000-40,000 citizens died because of Robespierre. He was Committee of Public Safety and after the Reign of terror he was executed by Guillotine and Napoleon .
- June 20, 1789, tennis court oath the Estates General took an oath saying that they won't separate until France has a constitution.
- 14 July 1789,The storming of the Bastille the peasant got weapon and tore it down because it was a symbol of the king's power.
