- Hi! My name is Sienna Gorski and this is my Digital Story Project for UNI 110.

- My Background
- I was born in Hawaii, but I moved to Panama City, Panama when I was 6 years old.
- I lived in Panama until August of this year, when I moved to Phoenix, Arizona to study nursing at ASU.

- I have one sister who is 7 years older than me, Brittany
- My mom, Dayra, is from Panama and still lives there along with the rest of her family

- My experience growing up in Panama
- (1) Even though I grew up in Panama and it will always be a part of me, I didn't like it
- (3) It made me feel very self-conscious and I became very nervous when I had to say anything in Spanish. So, I grew up very shy and introverted. It's definitely a very beautiful place, but I hope to never go back there again
- (2) When I moved there, I didn't know Spanish so I had to learn it from scratch. I was bullied by my family and friends for my funny accent

- Meeting my roommate
- (2) Roommates can definitely make or break your college experience. I've heard so many horror stories of people's roommates being awful, so I'm really happy we got paired.

- (3) I was completely heartbroken and felt like a failure. It seemed like I was the only one who was having such a hard time with the course.
- Hardest moment in college so far
- (2) The most difficult moment I've experienced so far is definitely when I failed my first Biology exam.
- (1) I am currently taking Biology Human Anatomy and Physiology which has probably been the most difficult class I've ever taken
- (4) I learned how important it is to start studying a few weeks in advance of an exam, but also it's not the end of the world if you fail.

- My Future Goals
- After I graduate and become a Registered Nurse, I'll probably work bedside or in the ICU for a while. But I really want to become either a Labor and Delivery Nurse or Operating Room Nurse. I'd also like to explore being a Travel Nurse because I love to learn about new places.

- (1) This is my roommate, Arissa! We met on move-in day and I was very nervous we wouldn't get along but we got very lucky because now we're best friends
- Conclusion
- (3) But it all turned out great in the end. I think I've learned that sometimes you have to take a step back from a stressful situation and look at the big picture.
- (2) It's so crazy to think about what my life looked like a year ago. I was so stressed out because of college applications and senior year.
- (4) I'm looking forward to next semester because I think I'll be able to handle my classes better and be less stressed out.
- (1) Now that my first semester of college is almost over, I've realized that I've learned and grown so much as a person!
