- Good to see you again Sir Roderick Usher!
- The Narrator reunites with his childhood friend, Roderick Usher.
- A storm begins, creating loud noises throughout the house.
- Together, the two paint and sing together while Lady Madeline is sick and dying.
- Lady Madeline climbs back up the stairs and falls in front of the Narrator and Roderick. Lady Madeline falls dead and Roderick dies of fear as well.
- Lady Madeline dies, so the narrator and Roderick Usher carry her body down to the dungeon.
- The narrator runs out of the house because it's splitting in half and because he is scared.
