- Did you guys know that we have a spy now?! Cherry is our spy for us now to tell us when the socs were going to attack..
- Why didn't you think of this earlier?
- Were going back and turning ourselves in.
- WHAT?!
- Look!The church is on fire!
- We must of left a lighted cigarette. Let's go check it out.
- While eating there Dairy Queen, Dally had told Johnny and Ponyboy that Cherry the soc was now a spy for them. From now on she is going to tell them when the socs are going to attack them.
- "Shut up were going to get you out".
- Ponyboy get out the church is going to fall.
- You three kids are the bravest kids I've ever seen. You and the black haired kid climbing in that window and then the tough kid going back in to save him. Were y'all sent from heaven or are you just professional heroes.
- While finishing up there food, Johnny decides it's time for him and Ponyboy to go turn their self's in. Shocked and confused, Darry tried to talk Ponyboy and Johnny out of it. He was so shocked he turned white as a ghost.
- You're what?!
- Take me to town and you will find out pretty quick.
- No were greasers.
- After coming back from Dairy Queen,they came back and saw the church on fire. Before leaving for Dairy Queen they must have had left a lighted cigarette.Ponyboy runs up as Johnny following right behind him to go get a closer look.
- Darry,Sodapop I missed you guys so much! Sorry for running away Darry.
- You had me worried Ponyboy! I thought we lost you like mom and dad.
- Crack! Crack! The roof makes as it starts to crumble. Dally tried to warn them and tell the to evacuate the church,but they didn't budge.Johnny and Ponyboy hastilywent through the church to go and save the kids.
- After the boys rescued the children out of the church so gallantly,they were rushed to the hospital. In the ambulance,Ponyboy was with one of the teachers while she was explaining how brave they were and she was wondering if they came from heaven or if they were just heroes. Ponyboy then explains that there greasers and she was very shocked.
- When Ponyboy arrived at the hospital, he saw Darry and Ponyboy in the lobby. Ponyboy was really excited to see Darry and Sodapop again. Darry was also excited to see Ponyboy and he had been worried that he might of died. Ponyboy had also apologized for running away.
