- Esperanza and Alfredo are engaged, but Alfredo no longer seems excited about the prospect of getting married or even discussing a wedding date.
- Don Julian and Alfredo visit their neighbors and then greeted by a beautiful woman named Julia at the door.
- As time goes by, their relationship became much closer than before and grow more intimate everytime they meet.Alfredo makes an effort to convey his feelings for Julia. Unforunately, he find out thatJulia will be returning to her hometown andthis might be his last chance to see her.
- One evening, Alfredo saw Julia at the plaza and decided to approach her, but only to find out that Julia already discovered that he is engaged to Esperanza. The surprising event is not yet finish since Esperanza revealed that she knows what's happening between Alfredo and Julia and she dared to leave Alfredo. Alfredo have no other choice but to choose between them.
- Eventually, Alfredo chose Esperanza and finally set the date for their marriage.

When they finally met once again, Alfredo felt something is missing then he hold Julia's hand, but the feeling that he felt before was gone. He is holding on to a dream that is already gone.
